Insurance Employer Training: Retirement, Disability and Death Benefits

A half-day employer training class for benefits administrators on retiree insurance eligibility and options, disability retirement, and administering death benefits. The class also includes information on survivor coverage. Our Field Services team conducts this training in a small, informal session that encourages participation and welcomes any questions or comments. The class, held at PEBAs office in Columbia, begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

You will need to provide your own training materials. The PowerPoint Presentation for this training is available at www.peba.sc.gov/itrainingresources.html. The PEBA Benefits Administrator Manual and Insurance Benefits Guide are also available online at www.peba.sc.gov, but are not required for the training. If you are unable to attend, please email Field Services at fieldservices.insurance@peba.sc.gov.
