PEBA offers insurance employer training online. The Benefits Administrator Manual   and the Insurance Benefits Guide   are great resources with more information.

Request a one-on-one virtual meeting

Employers can request a one-on-one virtual meeting with an Employer Services staff member for assistance with administering PEBA insurance benefits. Meetings are scheduled based on availability.

To make the most of your appointment, please be prepared with any issues or questions. We also encourage you to gather examples or screenshots in advance of your meeting. To request a virtual meeting, complete this online form. We will contact you via email to schedule the meeting.

COBRA

This training is for benefits administrators and other staff who administer COBRA. The information will assist you in counseling an employee who loses insurance coverage due to a voluntary termination, an involuntary termination or a reduction in hours. MoneyPlus and Health Savings Accounts

This training is for benefits administrators and other staff who administer MoneyPlus, the state’s flexible benefits program. You’ll learn about the benefits of MoneyPlus and operational procedures, and how to educate and enroll employees.

Retirement, Disability and Death

This training is for benefits administrators and other staff who counsel employees on insurance benefits at retirement. Information on how to apply for disability and how to administer death benefits is also included.
